The Utah Celtic FC 06 Boys made history this week by becoming the first boys team from the club to compete in the prestigious Dallas Cup.
The boys played three games, and won twice while losing once. They opened group play on Monday against FC Prime, winning 3-1 with two goals from Brooks Barker and another from Rockwell Doman.
Tuesday the played FC Dallas ECNL Red, and burst out to a 2-0 lead. After conceding, Celtic responded again by scoring. However, FC Dallas would score two more before halftime to make it 3-3 and then score two more times in the second half to win 5-3.
On Wednesday, Celtic played Tiro Sports in the final group play match and won 3-2.
While Celtic finished second in the group with six points, unfortunately they were unable to advance as only the top team in each group moves on to the quarterfinals.
