2025-26 Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2025/26 Season will be held in May. Tryouts are held for two days during the allotted tryout windows established by UYSA. All clubs are required by UYSA to hold tryouts at the same time during the year.


UYSA Girls North County Tryouts (Birth years 2018-2014)

Location: IHC Hospital Fields | 450 W 400 N - Orem

Dates/Times: May 19 & 20 from 4:30-8:15 pm*  


UYSA Boys North County Tryouts (Birth years 2018-2014)

Location: Lakeside Sports Complex | 1850 W 400 S - Orem

Dates/Times: May 19 & 20 from 4:30-8:15 pm*  


UYSA Girls & Boys South County Tryouts (Birth years 2018-2014)

Location: Mapleton Jr. High | 362 E 1200 N - Mapleton

Dates/Times: May 19 & 20 from 5:00-8:30 pm*  


Girls Academy, Aspire & UYSA Girls North County Tryouts (Birth years 2013-2007)

Location: Lakeside Sports Complex | 1850 W 400 S - Orem

Dates/Times: May 27 & 28 from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm*


MLS Next 2 & UYSA Boys North County Tryout (Birth years 2013-2007)

Location: Lakeside Sports Complex | 1850 W 400 S - Orem

Dates/Times: May 27 & 28 from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm*


UYSA Girls & Boys South County Tryouts (Birth years 2013-2007)

Location: Mapleton Jr. High | 362 E 1200 N - Mapleton

Dates/Times: May 27 & 28 from 5:30-7:00 pm*

  • Players who want to be considered for GA, Aspire, or MLS Next 2 teams must attend tryouts in Orem.
  • Players trying out for UYSA teams should attend tryouts based on the geographic location they want to train/play - North Utah County (Orem) / South Utah County (Mapleton)
  • Players only need to register once and can attend tryouts at either or both Utah County locations.
  • All players will be evaluated and placed on teams by skill level and birth year

Can i talk to a coach before tryouts?

Prior to the second weekend in May, a representative of a Team or Organizational Member may not initiate contact with a player in another Organizational Member with the intent to promote tryouts for the next Seasonal Year. A Team or Organizational Member may offer sign-ups for registration online prior to the “initiate contact” date in May (SECOND Saturday in May), but may not have any communication (verbal or written) with players or parents from another team or OM until the “initiate contact” date.

Can I try out for multiple teams?

You can tryout for as many Utah Celtic FC teams as you would like, so long as you are eligible to tryout for those teams. Registration for tryouts is a single fee and you can tryout for all teams and age groups for which you are eligible.
