2026-27 TRYOUTS
Tryouts for the 2026/27 Season will be held in May. Tryouts are held on days during the allotted tryout windows established by UYSA. All clubs are required by UYSA to hold tryouts at the same time during the year.
Dates for the 2026/27 tryouts are May 18-20 for younger age groups (U8-U12) and May 26-27 for older age groups and platform teams (U13-U18). See the schedule below for exact times and dates for your age group.
Tryout Guidelines
- Players who want to be considered for Platform Teams (GA, GA Aspire, MLS Next Academy, or NAL) must attend tryouts in Orem.
- Players trying out for UYSA teams should attend tryouts based on the geographic location they want to train/play.
- Orem (North Utah County)
- Spanish Fork (South Utah County)
- Players must register for the specific tryout location(s) they plan to attend. If a player wishes to be evaluated at BOTH locations, they must register for BOTH tryout sessions. Our system will automatically waive the second tryout registration fee at checkout.
- All players will be evaluated and placed on teams by skill level and age group.
REMEMBER:
- Attending one location → Register once
- Attending both locations → Register for BOTH sessions (2 registrations required, 1 fee)

FAQs
Can I talk to a coach before tryouts?
Prior to the second weekend in May, a representative of a Team or Organizational Member may not initiate contact with a player in another Organizational Member with the intent to promote tryouts for the next Seasonal Year. A Team or Organizational Member may offer sign-ups for registration online prior to the “initiate contact” date in May (SECOND Saturday in May), but may not have any communication (verbal or written) with players or parents from another team or OM until the “initiate contact” date.
Can i try out for multiple teams?
You can tryout for as many Utah Celtic FC teams as you would like, so long as you are eligible to tryout for those teams. Registration for tryouts is a single fee and you can tryout for all teams and age groups for which you are eligible.

DO I need a tryout shirt
Yes, please wear your tryout shirt to both days of tryouts so that coaches can easily identify you!
My tryout time isn't listed in spanish fork?
Not all age groups are available in Spanish Fork. If your age group is not available, we suggest attending trying out in Orem.
