MLS NEXT
Utah Celtic FC is proud to participate in the MLS NEXT Academy Division. MLS NEXT launched the Academy Division in the 2025-26 season, furthering its commitment to player development and creating opportunities for all players to reach their highest potential. This expansion broadens access, raises the level of play, and deepens the overall talent pool of players, coaches, and referees across North America. With this expansion, MLS NEXT has more than doubled its participating players and clubs.
In our opening 2025-26 season in the MLS NEXT Academy Division, our U19 squad won the Desert Conference and qualified for MLS NEXT Cup, where they became inaugural Academy Division U19 MLS NEXT Cup Champions! Our 2010 team also qualified for MLS NEXT Cup through our Desert Conference. Our 2012 team won the Scottsdale Regional Qualifiers as the U14 Champion, winning in an electric penalty shootout! While the U14 age group doesn't participate in MLS NEXT Cup, our boys finished as Champions nonetheless!
