Former Utah Celtic FC and BYU player Cameron Tucker signed with the Utah Royals, bringing her back home to Utah where she started her soccer career.
Cameron played for Utah Celtic FC her entire youth career, starting in the Utah Celtic FC academy and eventually graduating in 2017. She prepped at Lone Peak during her high school career.
While at BYU, Cameron was a pivotal part of BYU's first College Cup run to the NCAA National Championship. During her career at BYU, she scored 43 goals and had 31 assists from 2017 - 2021. In 2021 she had 16 goals and 10 assists to help the Cougars get to the 2021 final, the Cougars best ever finish. She was then drafted to NY/NJ Gotham, before being traded to the Houston Dash. Cameron joins another former Utah Celtic FC player, Carly Nelson, who also signed on Tuesday.
Welcome home Cameron!
