The 2012 Utah Celtic FC Girls Team coached by Makaylie Moore became the first UYSA State Cup Champion of 2024 on Tuesday by beating Utah Avalanche in Extra Time!
Makaylie's team had a great run to the title, going 2-0 in the group play by winning 3-0 against a La Roca team and 2-1 against an Impact team.
They advanced to the Quarterfinals where they beat another La Roca team 5-0, before beating La Roca's top 2012 team 3-1 in the semifinal. They would go on to beat Utah Avalanche 3-2 in extra time in the State Cup Final.
